I also met with anneheart's sister who gave me the tour of the new audio section. The teens were having an 'Open Mic' night. Quite cute.
I've also started writing more. Nothing printable, sometimes just conversations, or tiny clips of a scene, but it's getting getting words to paper, turning vision into letters, conveying hopes, fears, smells into words and sentences. I'm out of practice. Still working on my latest story, the Goth Western. I'm back to where I was before the hard drive crash. Such labor! I'm back to the part were Amanda meets Marshall and that uncomfortable tension she has being alone with a man who doesn't fully understand what she's been through.
Snap! That's it! I just realized what the hell I've been missing. I know how to break some of that tension. I'll let you know how it goes next week. Promise.
Total blah's today. I may be fighting a cold. I couldn't get up and when I finally did, I had just enough gumption to give the cat her meds and do my Seneschal report. Vive la resistance!
I have also decided to start a Facebook account. I know, I know, kills me to even think it, but the Venture Crew is all on Facebook, yadda, yadda, yadda, I'll have to conform.
I will let you all know what my account name will be when I figure it out. Ugh, I just want to take a shower thinking about it.
This was a beautiful movie to watch. Pure SCA porn. danabren and bytchearse must see this movie. Must! You'll cream your jeans. It was nominated for an Academy Award, I just don't know which one. I'm guessing best costume. It wasn't the best acting, or direction, or script, but it was a wonderful and totally enjoyable movie. No, I don't know how true to life it is, but that only means I won't know if it took a turn to the fantastic.
It's a good movie.
