Briefly, as I seem to have a bit more on my mind than usual; yesterday I performed my annual autumn ritual. I took off all my clothes, save shoes and a hat, unlocked my back door in case I needed an escape route, and walked out my front door. I admired my trees, my house, my lawn. I reveled in the playful sunlight cast in flickering beams through the golden leaves as I walked all the way around my house.
Why? Because I can. I like the Shire, that's all there is to it. A place all to itself. Fourteen years now I done this and I plan on another three score. (that's sixty years if you're keeping track)
And three score from now, I'd love you to join me.
